ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Jacqueline Hsiao, and I am a graduate from the Pratt Institute with a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design (B.I.D.).

I am Taiwanese, born in Los Angeles, California and raised in Beijing, China up until college. I am currently living in Brooklyn, NY.

I have designed projects in collaboration with notable companies such as Skip-Hop, Simon Pearce, Umbra and Sperry. I am hard-working, organized and enthusiastic. As the winner of Pratt Institute's Rowena Reed Kostellow award during my senior year, I have a strong understanding of 3-dimensional form and space analysis and have always incorporated it throughout the design process. I am quick and eager to learn new skills and develop a better understanding of design in all its aspects.

I love travelling and have been to over 25 countries across the world. I believe that my background as a ‘third culture kid’ has allowed me to approach design in a different perspective and become adaptable to the circumstances around me.
